I'm home

We had a great time.. I actually caught about 4 trout and toooooo many blue gill.. they got thrown back. We came home with a dozen trout and a lot of great memories of the weekend. My mother-in-law was there from morning to night with us and she had a blast. It's been a long time since we spent more than our saturdays with her and it was nice to have grandma around to pamper and spend time with.. she said we spoilt her the whole weekend. she never had to cook or clean the whole time.. and the kids went home with her to take care of the horses so she didnt even have to do that.. What a great trip and I hope to do more at that park again and have more time with her and the family in the future. PS Angie did a flip over her bike right before we were leaving and got scraped up pretty good..lol.. you can hear her now right.. omg.. i have to go to school with all these scrapes.. i will have to wear pants and long shirts all week.. oh my.. you would think she was killed.. i had fun being the nurse and cleaning it all up with some rubbing alcohol.. hehehehe.. than i put big bandages on it and she looks funny... hehehe

that sounds awesome.....you cleaned the kids wounds with rubbing alcohol you sadist? How about you put some peroxide in your kit or maybe some of the other nonsense out there, alcohol burns like the dickens! Hugs, ANDI

first i scrubed them with betadine scrub.. hehehehe.. than I put peroixide on them.. and than i put alcolhol on them.. it was a lot of fun.. a couple of them were pretty deep.. on her hand and ankle.. she is boney.. so i wanted to ensure I really got them clean...lol.. of course the betadine was a good start.. had to get the pebbles out u know..lol... I love being a nurse.. I did like the surgical OR scrub thing..lol... she loved it.. wouldnt have done that with the little ones but she is tough and they were deep... so thats my excuse.. she was thankful I didnt pull out the scrub brush to really scrub it.. ive done that before too..
