It's Friday! How did everyone do this week?

Hey everybody! Since Carla is off having fun for the weekend, I thought I'd hi-jack her On Track Team posts and let everyone update how their week went and what their plans are for the weekend. My week went fairly well. I did my Dexa Scan, which was so easy! I also found out my labs came back great and even my parathyroid hormone levels were dropping closer to normal. Woo hoo! My eating has been going okay, other than I indulged in a tiny bowl of icecream last night. But it didn't taste all that great so I don't feel compelled to eat anymore. Now, if I could stay away from the Sun Chips, that would be much better! I have a 5K race tomorrow morning ... and wouldn't you know I pulled a muscle in my calf and tweaked my lower back at kickboxing??? Now I don't know what to do ... I might just walk on the treadmill today to keep my leg muscle warmed up? Not sure. I'm determined to run tomorrow though! I'm scared ... it's along a parade route and the 5K is running right before the parade starts. So everyone who is watching the parade will be sitting out in their chairs watching all of us runners! I really do NOT like the idea of people watching my flab jiggle around while I'm clodhopping down the street! Oh well, I decided I'm going to wear my mp3 player and just run, run, run! We're also going to take the kids to see Shrek 3 this weekend. Should be fun! How are YOU doing??? Any fun plans for the weekend? Deanna

Hi Good luck on your race! I plan on working, I love it...LOL I had taken pictures , but most of them are blurry..., I have never been that good at pictures....LOL Other than that noting special. I had my one year checkup and the doc said I was a poster child for the surgery...LOL I think we May people are the best and doing so great ....that's my personal opinion and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!
