So fridays I usually see what the plans are for the weekend.. with our new lives we sure are a lot more busier than we use to be. In the past I would have said I was gonna sit on my pc and play pc games all day.. I would put in 15 hours on the weekend of doing that.. yes.. it was bad.
Now with my new life I have no time for that.. I am up, out and enjoy the world and life around me.
We are taking the ski's out this saturday to the lake for their first run of the summer. All week we have been playing and cleaning them up for the trip.. It's sad they are 5 years old and only have 30 hours on them. that means we barely ride them.. I plan to triple that time this summer easily.
On mothers day we are going to my parents for a lunch with all the family in one of our huge get togethers.. ugh.. kind of messing with our plans as we didnt know about this until yesterday. Oh well, havent seen my dad in a couple months even though they only live 8 miles away. I see Jo's mom all the time and she lives 40 miles away. Its just the way my family is so I except that not that my folks dont love me.. my dad is always busy doing things and have a full calendar going on.
Carla, you have a great weekend planned!!! I've never been water skiing! It sounds like fun!
Tomorrow is my daughter, Abby's, 7th birthday. We are taking her to this place called Enchanted Forest to celebrate. Then on Sunday we are driving up to a mall in Portland to the Build-A-Bear Workshop so she can spend her birthday money on a bear she's been wanting. We're also going to the Cheesecake Factory to get a slice of cheesecake to share between the 4 of us. Yum! Other than that, we'll just hang out and do some shopping!

Busy weekend for me. Last night I had a handbag party, which was lovely and informal and relaxed and went very well. Today I had a stall at a Fair trade market for World Fair Trade day. It is the biggest thing I've done so was a bit apprehensive, but I had a great time and made some good contacts (also made some money - alwasy a good thing hee hee!!)
Tonight I am combining delivering to one of my hostess and visitng with a friend who lives in that area, so it will be a late girlie night.
Tomorrow I will need to catch up on the paperwork from this weekend , and preparing for a creative arts church service we are leading and ministering at next Sunday. Lots to do...so little time ***sigh*** but worth it.
The good thing is that when I am busy I don't snack on wrong choices
