I got the last laugh..
So the meeting was a success.. I was excited for that.. Everyone complimented how well organized and put together the powerpoint and materials were.. I am a detail person.. so here it is..
My co worker.. she didnt even know what was on the slides.. and looked like an idiot.. she ended up sitting down and shuting up while I presented everything.. they saw it.. hahahahaha.. Afterwards my bossed let them know I was the one who had did everything.. and they all said they could tell.. Jodi tried to make a big deal out of buying stupid danish but they ignored her...lol..
they know who has the brains in this group...got two big moments out of this meeting.
1. they want to send me through this training class to register me as a certified behavior analysis with their centers.. (new thing here in cali). It cost a ton of money.. they didnt offer it to her.. just me.. hehehehehe.. she isnt qualified nor do they want to send her... she tired.. lol..something to add to my boasting wall.. hehehe.
2. now the wow moment.. I havent seen the big guy from one of the rc in over a year.. he walked in and I said hi.. he introduced himself and said I dont believe I know you.. he was gobsmacked (i love that word) when he realized it was me.. he just kept saying thats Carla.. is that Carla.. i walked out of the room and I heard him telling my boss how wonderful I looked.. he just went on and on...It felt so good..
So the moral of the story.. she did nothing to help.. she knew nothing when it came time to present.. and she looked like she should of.. a stupid lazy employee without a clue what is going on.. I dont wish meaniness on anyone, but we reap what we sow..
Yes
as you say we reap what we sow...or in another way - what goes around comes around.
Sometimes we do not get to see the results of others selfish behaviour, but when we do, boy it sure does taste good!!!! hee hee.
Plus, you get loads of good stuff out of it - she really raised your profile and you get training and career progression out of her behaviour. You have been vindicated. Enjoy the feeling (without gloating and throwing it in her face - otherwise it might come back on you!!!)
**hugs**
