One year anniversary!!
Hello,
First of all, Happy Anniversary to everyone this month. It has been a whirlwind year for me and I would imagine for everyone else as well. I just returned from my one year check up and I am officially down 91lbs. I was hoping to be down 100 by this time but I have been stuck in the 171-173 range for the past 8 weeks, although my scale acutally showed me the 16... number yesterday and the day before. I knew it wouldn't be showing that at the doctors office because I was dressed but at least I saw it somewhere. I truly didn't think that number existed for me. I have accomplished alot this past year. I finished my Bachelors degree in Nursing this past November and have done very well with my weight loss. I have held the 172 pretty steady which is something that I am proud of because when I have hit plateaus before I just gave up and started piling the weight back on. I hope to get another 15lbs off by September because that is when I have my plastic surgery scheduled for. I will look really good after that!!! Some of my biggest rewards are when people don't recognize me anymore, that is when I know I have made huge progress. Plus the ultimate compliment came from a man other than my husband, he just gushed over me and told me how wonderful I looked....what a rush. There is something more significant about a compliment from a man who isn't related to you because I think men are ignorant for the most part and either don't notice or just don't care. So that was a nice feeling. I can't believe how much better I feel now then I did last year.
