Monday.. Monday.. Monday.. everyone jump on board.. lets see if we can have a week full of good choices and healthy exercise.. Put it down.. be accountable.. lets continue to the new healthy and wonderful you.. Vitamins- done Water- working on it.. Food- B- protein shake 250 cals 35 pro L- chicken 200 cals 25 pro D- pork and veggies S- Pretzels Exercise- pilates, working with my trainer and elliptical/treadmill.. yes treadmill.. i went out and bought some running shoes and I am ready to tame that beast. Fasting food-- no ice cream Late night snacking... i did well last night.. I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch.. that is truely incompatable with eating..lol Goal- eat lots of chicken this week.. I had enough beef this weekend to last me a lifetime..lol..

I had a rough weekend with my eating. Didn't eat near enough and then when I got home Saturday night we went out to dinner and I ordered eggs ... had to leave the restaurant to come home and barf them up. It was nasty! So, today is back on track day for me today ... I'm sticking to my plan! Food: B--3/4 cup Special K Protein Plus cereal with skim milk S--banana with peanut butter L--leftover 1/2 of a carnita burrito, strawberries S--Danon Light & Fit yogurt with sprinkle of low fat granola D--lasagna made with ground turkey and whole wheat noodles S--sugar free pudding and south beach cookies Exercise: Today is a big day for me. I'm going to work up the nerve to go back to that Group Kick (kickboxing) class this morning. I'm going to warm up by running for 1 mile. Then I go back to the gym this evening for a Nutrition class I signed up for. After that, I will either do elliptical for 30 minutes or run for 30 minutes. Deanna

I just have to add that I worked up the nerve to go to that kickboxing class again this morning. This weekend we heard a motivational speaker who talked about attitude and how you wake up each day and decide what your attitude will be for the day. So I thought about that long and hard and I marched into my gym and stood in the very front of that class with a big ole grin on my face and I punched and kicked away! I even talked to 2 other ladies in the class and discovered that they were every bit as insecure about doing that class as I was. Funny how people you wouldn't think feel that way, really do feel insecure! Anyway, I was dang proud of myself because a year ago I was literally hiding in my house and making excuses not to go out in public. Today I'm flying high as a kite because I overcame that fear of going into new situations in public. But I did it and no one laughed at me and I felt GREAT! In case you hadn't noticed ... I have a major exercise high going on right now! I ran on the treadmill too so I have a big buzz going on now! Ha, ha! Deanna

B - 10 oz of decaf coffee w/ 3 oz milk followed by 3/4 cup special k protein plus and 5 oz milk (221 cals and 18g protein) L - forgot lunch - 3 bites country fried steak w/ gravy and 1/2 roll (approx 170 cal and 8g protein) S - 1 oz smoked swiss cheese and 3 ritz crackers (lowfat) (165 cals and 8 g protein) Totals before dinner 555 cal and 33 g protein D - Our church is having revival so we'll probably eat out either before or after. Vitamins: Just did it Water: Work in progress Food: B- coffee S: banana/grapefruit L: chicken fajitas S: none - yipee D: ? Exercise: Personal training tonight...gonna try to run... Goal: To get back in a more normal eating pattern. To make better choices. No drinking wine (at least during the week).
