Whats the plan for the weekend. I know we all have such different lives now.. I know I am always so busy on the weekends as apposed to before where i would play pc games, sleep and hide from the world... now I am out all weekend doing things with the family and enjoying the world. So what are your plans for the weekend.. i have another crazy one coming at me. Saturday we are having our annual event for OH here in Cali at the park. They estimate over 200 people will be there.. It's gonna be a lot of fun. We have face painting and tons of activities for the kids.. On Sunday we are going to grandmas. The kids have something planned for my birthday but wont tell me..

my hubby is going to be picking up the boys new bunkbeds tonight so well put those up and the kiddos are in a parade tomorrow and I work till noon,then Ashley and I are off to the doctor, Hopefully sunday will be a lazy day.

Tomorrow we are going down to London. It was hubbies birthday Wednesday and this is what he wants to do as his outing! We are going on the London Eye, having a meal out and generally wandering around. I used to not enjoy going down as I got so tired and worn out, but I think now I'm going to really enjoy all the walking aorund. Sunday, we will be at church and then visit the pastor of a church where we will be ministering at in a couple of weeks to go through what we have planned. She is an old friend who knew us while we were both single before we got together, so it will be an enjoyable time. Then Monday is a holiday so no work or school, woohoo. We don't have plans yet, but if the weather is good probably yard work as the world and his wife will be driving somewhere so avoid the roads at all costs!! (Britain becomes a parking lot on holidays hee hee.

We have one at the beginning of May called May Day - the first monday in May. Then this one at the end. I have no idea how this one started exactly They are called Bank Holidays here - they started from when the banks had to close or something, so maybe this one was for them ending up the tax year? There was talk about moving it to autumn as we dont' have any then, but it hasn't happened yet. So I'm having this one and enjoying it!! hee hee.

Oops - I'm a month ahead of myself. THIS is the May day one!!! A traditional thing - you get fetes and country dancing and stuff like that.

I may be a whole lot thinner, but my life is still just the same. It's the end of the semester and we are visiting my parents in Wisconsin leaving next Wednesday so I have to get two ten page papers, a final and a book review done before then. That's what I am working on night and day. On Sunday the church is having a picnic. It always rains. But, it should be enjoyable just the same. Somehow I have to find time to clean the house and pack and take the cat to get her nails clipped. Ugh....that's why I just sit here on the boards, if i avoid the work, it will go away right??? Here's what the weekend brought me thus far: Friday: took the kids to track practice, walked for 1.5 miles, went out to dinner with my hubby and daughter while the boys went to see Spiderman 3 with friends (they gave it great review) Saturday: took a 3 hour drive, with a picnic lunch to a petting zoo/hiking trail/picnic place to see my friends new baby. We drove into what we thought was the bates motel but what a treasure this place was, so glad we went. The baby is so cute too, what chunky cheeks! Sunday: Heart walk for work, going into work for a bit, getting my nails done, going to the gym (if i can fit it) I have to go to the mall and find an outfit for mother's day tea at my daughters school on Tuesday!
