Hi Carla! I wish I could come camping with you! That sounds fun! Where are you going? Vitamins and water: working on it Food: B--1 scrambled egg, 1/2 slice whole wheat toast, 4 strawberries S--Danon Light & Fit yogurt with sprinkle of granola L--1/2 whole wheat pita with ham and cheese, strawberries (I'm addicted to strawberries lately!) S--either protein bar or Special K Protein Plus cereal D--bacon wrapped chicken, veggie S after gym--sugar free pudding cup and south beach cookies Exercise: Normally my husband and I would go to a Spin class tonight but my daughter is sick. So we might have to skip that so my husband can stay home with her. If that is the case, I will run on the treadmill at the gym ... I want to attempt 4 miles straight! Deanna

Hey Deanna does your husband go to the gym with you now? Great if he is. How is he feeling about you losing and being more active now - things better I hope.

Hi Ruth! My husband goes to the gym with me about twice a week. We are doing okay but I have noticed that there is something pulling us apart in a sense. I have this new-found adventurous streak where I want to get up and go ... instead of staying home and doing nothing, I want to go be active. He still wants to sit at home and watch TV or play his XBox. I like watching TV too but I find myself wanting to go out and do more active things, which he doesn't seem to have any interest in. In a way I feel bad and almost guilty for changing so much. But I am enjoying my new self! I can't really force him to change either ... I just wish he would take a more active roll in becoming healthier himself. He is overweight and could stand to lose 50 pounds or more. But he just has no desire to eat better! So there is some tension there. I just keep hoping that seeing a positive change in me will spur him onto making some positive changes in his health too! Thanks for asking ... you are such a sweetheart! Deanna
