Haven't felt like this in a while, I hate it!

I was in tears today because I have gotten so off track. I have discovered sugar free oreos, skinny cow ice cream bars, and a bunch of other crap foods. I think I've even gained weight from it! What do you all do when you feel the need to snack?? I am so stressed and don't want to get back into the binge eating cycle, even though I feel like I am already there! I feel like crap and need to cleans my system out but have no idea how to do that! I HATE protein shakes and can't have milk. PLEASE HELP! UGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Can you drink the lactaid milk? South Beach Diet protein bars are pretty good...I love the peanut butter ones. When I feel that snack attack come on...I just make more realistic choices now....I will eat some grapes or watermelon or if I want something crunchy I will each pork rinds, popcorn or pretzels. Just try to remember to think before you eat. Remember we don't live to eat anymore...we eat to live but in order to be healthy we have to make good nutritional choices. Kel

(((((((Karlie)))))))))) i know what you are talking about! You have choices, you have the power to make good ones. Why do you have that crap in your house if it's a trigger food for you? Get cheese sticks, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, fresh fish, chicken, tuna, egg salad, I buy small Wendy's Chili's and keep those for eating/snacking. I make sure the heathy choices are right up front so i'm not tempted to look for hte kids's treats! You can do this, you have the power of will, the conviction and the desire to reach your goal and if y ou don't go find yourself some professional help that will tell you why you don't. ANDI

Hi Karlie! I can totally relate because I have found myself in the same rut too. I try to keep anything bad out of the house and snack on good things. Even if they aren't "good" things, they are better than some of the bad things. I really like graham crackers with peanut butter on them. Or the South Beach high protein cereal bars. I even eat the South Beach cookies ... I allow myself one packet a day and I love them, they are a real treat! I like to eat them along with a sugar free pudding cup and I feel like I'm really indulging and they are only 160 calories combined. I cannot stomach protein drinks so I don't even bother with them. I do try to get in protein bars as often as possible though. Deanna

I have been there too ! We all have ! When i feel snacky I try to do something like take a bath , go for a drive , walk the dog ,get on the computer , go over to a friends house or have a cup of tea .As for the protein drinks ,I've had issues as well here's a few suggestions . I use muscle milk lite you can mix it with water 195 cal and 25 pro take make this bearable I bought some sugar free syrups at the store they're in the coffee section I like choclate and carmel (they have no calories) or sometimes I buy the lite iced starbucks coffee in the can from the grocery store and mix the protein with that (35 cals).
