Need your Help ANDI
I'm not Andi, but I'm a friend of hers, so hope I can help! Here's how I do it...(this give % of excess weight lost)
Take the number of excess weight & divide by 100
e.g you want to lose a total of 150 pounds. Divide 150 by 100 which gives you 1.5
This gives you 1% (so 1.5 = 1% of weight loss in the example)
Then divide the total amount you have lost by the 1% figure from above (eg. total amount lost 50pounds divided by 1.5 from above = 33% weight lost)
The figure you end up with is the % of excess weight you have lost.
Hope you can make sense of that!!
