On Track Team
Well it's friday... and I am home with all the kids cause of easter break. We are gonna do somethings encluding going to grandma's and giving her my little one for the week. My two middle kids have year round so they are off of school for another week. So grandma is taking my baby for the week to work on her riding for the show coming in June she is in.. You can guess how excited she is to spend the week with grandma.
So lets get this started.. I've been doing good at following my plan each day and I kind of have reduced my calories and following the plan is reducing it more.. for the past three days I have been getting dizzy when I stand up.. that blacking out feeling.. I'm not sure if its because of the reduced calories or what.. but I am keeping an eye on it.. im affraid i am gonna fall and get hurt when it happens.
Vitamins- done
Water- been getting it in each day.. yeah..
Food-
B- Protein shake 250 cals-35 pro
L- Chicken 200 cals- 25 pro
D- left over night.. i will have my lasnauga from the other night... yummy 250 cals 20 pro
S- pretzels 100 cal- 2 pro
Thats only 800 cals.. hmm.. will need to add something I think.. 82 protein.
Exercise- working out with my trainer today and will do elliptical.
Goal- work on feeling better... this dizzy thing is starting to get to me... may call my doc.. not sure yet..
fasting-- doing good.. not ice cream yesterday and will keep that going.. dont have any in the house so that helps a lot..

I was going to answer this for you under my other post but since I'm here already and you mentioned it ... getting dizzy can be from not having enough calories. I spoke to my surgeon about this at my last visit because it was happening to me so bad that I would have to grab onto something because I would fall over. I would get that dizzy feeling like things were starting to go black and narrow into a small field of vision and I felt like I would fall over ... is that kind of how it feels? Anyway, he told me I'm not eating enough compared to how much I'm exercising. It's a mixture of low blood pressure and low blood sugar. It happens to me when I get off my bike in Spin class too so I need to make sure I eat before I go. I notice it really helps me if I'm eating regularly and getting enough calories. If I don't eat much during the day, it happens more. Weird!

B--1/2 english muffin with peanut butter, 7 strawberries
L--leftover crustless quiche, banana
S--Danon Light & Fit yogurt
D--Lean Cuisine frozen pizza
S--I'm sure I'll eat something at my daughter's family fun night at school but I'm not sure what. I'll bring some peanuts with me just in case!
Exercise:
Running at the gym. Wouldn't you know that I'm catching a cold and I'm all sniffly today? My race is Sunday! I better not be sick for it. I'm loading up on Zicam to see if that helps! Ugh!
Fasting goal: No candy! I'm so proud of myself! But it has heightened my awareness of how often I was reaching for a piece of candy without really realizing it. Now I'm more aware of it. Stupid candy!

thats exactly how it feels.. i have to grab something or i just lean over on the couch til it passes.. a couple of times I almost fell.. I am worried about getting hurt is has been so bad. Well I think its because of the low amounts I am eating as well.. I figure I burn more calories just at the gym than I am eating each day which is not a good thing. I got a smoothie at the gym which is 250 calories which will up my calories today from 800 to 1050. I hope that helps.. I will look at trying to get more in.

Vitamins - bought some Vit. B (read about in another of Carla's posts) as I've been feeling tired lately. I hope they help
Food - all good choices, only snacks have been a couple of handfuls of peanuts. Deanna what kind of peanuts do you eat - salted or plain or other?
Fasting - not one bit of sugar has passed my lips or been on my mind.
B - 1/2 atkins protein bar and 2 mini blueberry muffins (183 cal and 11g protein)
L- beef tips in gravy and 1/2 roll from lunchroom and 3 potato wedges (300 cal and 28 g protein)
S - 1/2 blue berry muffin - (63 cal and 1 protein)
D - family will probably eat out tonight. ----Right now i'm at 593 calories and 41 grams of protein. So that leaves me 400 cals for dinner tonight. I should be able to eat out sensible on that.
This has been a much better week for me. I'm still only getting about 40 oz of fluids in each day, so I've been trying to up that.
