Happy Easter to all
Happy Easter all. I know this is a busy day for most so I wish you a safe and happy journey. Remember the reason we celebrate. Enjoy one another and have a wonderful day. For thoses that do not celebrate the holidays.. you too have a happy and safe day. Spend it doing something with family, friends or just for yourself. Be safe and good. And if u cant be good at least be careful..lol..
Luv Carla
Right back atcha girly! What are you planning for today? I'm so hungry today and that's not a good sign since i was planning a "go light day". I brought in my gown to be tailored and she's going to take it in "hard" so i need to stick wtih a healthy eating plan this week and wear that gown with pride next week for the Spring Ball at work. I have been to church with family and then had roast lamb for lunch - yummy. I've just finished watching Wizard of Oz woth Millie (she loves it) and am enjoying a cup of hot tea and have eaten some of my huge chocolate egg that we give each other over here
Well I figure it's Easter - I'll get back on track tomorrow.
Andi - what is your gown like?
My gown makes me feel like a princess, it made my mom cry when i tried it on. You kind of have to see it because I'm not great at explaining, but i'm willing to give it a go! It's black (so slimming!) with a halter top, i've never gone for that look before but it looks good on me so it's a go, the halter thingy has this long, drapey piece that goes down my back which look great you don't see my back fat! It's is in a clingy material that i wasn't sure would work but with a pair of power panties/pantyhose on it looks good. I have to buy high heeled black shoes and a special bra but i'm going to make it work for me with a pair of diamond earrings. ANDI
My husband and I went to the respective churches that we serve at (for credit in school, not pay) as we do every Sunday, just a little longer today. It's just the two of us for Easter dinner today. I have a ham steak for the two of us to split on the grill (of course his half will be bigger) and I am making scalloped potatoes from scratch. I got a no sugar added apple pie as well. That's about it, but it has all the 'important' parts of the dinners I used to have with my family when we lived closer.
Then, I will cap the evening off by returning to homework, a liturgics paper that is due on Tuesday. We don't have classes tomorrow due to Easter today, so I will be working on it all day tomorrow as well.
I hope everyone has a great day. It's chilly here, but awfully sunny and spring-ish
