Monday Morning

Good morning everyone! How did your weekend go? What do you have planned for this week? My weekend was manic, a mix of highs and lows, emotionally. At least the highs balanced the weekend out! This week I've got year end tax stuff to do this week so I'll be busy with that, but then am on Easter break - woohoo.

Hi Snookie! This weekend was a really good weekend for me. I went down on Saturday to help my mom cook for passover, it's hard watching your mom get old(er)! She forgets things because she's doing like 12 things at once and something that is right in front of her is lost and then she struggles, if you tell her where it is she gets furious because she "should have known or seen it" but if you don't tell her, she gets all teary eyed that you are seeing her so weak! good morning all.. well I had a busy weekend. they all seem to be that way lately. Went to grandma's on Saturday and she invited one of Jo's cousins with her kids over. I spent the day saddling and doing the horse thing. I also cooked a nice bbq lunch for all.. was a really nice day all around. On sunday I spent the day cleaning kids rooms and gardening. I have no idea how kids can get so much junk in their rooms.. My little Jessica saves everything and I cant even find her room half the time. I try the.. its time to get rid of a few stuff animals but it never seems to work. they all apparently have some job to do.. no mom this one helps me exercise.. this one needs love.. this one.. omg... i just give up.. I cooked a nice bbq chicken dinner and we had a great day. My yards are looking pretty nice if I do say so myself. Now if i can keep the snails out I will be doing great. Hope you all had a great weekend.. its back to work now..

It should come to no suprise that I had yet another "social" weekend. Friday night was a retirement "happy hour" for one of the deputies here. That was fun. Ate too little and drank too much. On Saturday, I worked out, got a manicure and pedicure, took a nap then went to dinner with friends. It was fun and mellow. We never do things with just another couple and I just put my foot down with my hubby and told him he was going! What do you know he had a great time. Sunday, met a friend and went on a motorcycle ride out to a casino for lunch. So, I did not get any of the household stuff done but kids are on spring break so I guess if the laundry is not done no big deal.

Hi Ruth; well we travled to our home in NJ and are getting a little more ready to sell. next weekend we are going to Mass, to see my in laws (yippy) then back home and getting my new store ready (I'm sooooo nervous)
