WOW Moment

Our county always goes all out for Relay for Life. The superintendent and all other staff at the Board of Education served as waiters and waitresses last night at a local restaurant and all the tips went to their relay for life team's effort. Our faculty/staff decided to dress up as Men In Black and give 'em a hard time. 1st wow is that I could button and wear my grandfathers black suit coat (he's not a huge man ). WOW MOMENT Several of us decided to car pool together. We ended up with one more person than we had seats. I was sitting up front. We were about to unload the driver's "trunk" and let up her 3rd seat (ford expedition) when the "seat seeker" says I'll just ride up front with Mandy. I thought WHAT!?! HTH do you think that will happen. (we live in a very rural area and the restaurant is on a lake in the middle of nowhere so sitting 3 to the front was not a big deal). I just could not believe that we sat up front together. She sat half way on my lap. But we were not all uncomfortable. It just felt so great for her to not even think twice about it. She never even cosidered me to be toooo big for it to work. I felt normal! I love wow moments! Mandy

That is so cool.. I experienced something like that myself.. I hate riding in our truck cause we gotta put 3 up front and it was always so uncomforable.. the other day we had to and it wasnt uncomforable at all.. we had plenty of room.. now we take the truck all the time.. It's hard to believe that we are smaller even when we look in a mirror and see it... and when others look at you and say you are so skinny.. its hard to event think of a response. Someday we may actually believe what they are saying. congrats to you.
