PMA's - Positive Mental Attitude
Hello one and all! Here's how i choose to live my life, each night i write down at least 3 pma's for that day but i try for 5, this helps me start looking for the positives that each day holds. I'm not stressing about what i eat, how much i drink and how much I exercise, I do my best and that's all i can ask myself for:
1. i brought back the size 12's as they were too comfy but the 10's couldn't be warn outside so i'll wait it out for another two weeks and see what happens.
2. it's a gorgeus day out and I was able to meet a friend for coffee and a Sam's Club run
3. I went to the dentist, made the appointment for my root canal and why is this a pma you ask because i'm petrified of the dentist and he gave me a prescription for tranquilizers for the root canal so it won't be so bad. He also told me he knows where i live and if i'm late he's going to personally come pick me up so I don't chicken out (i work with his wife and both families are temple members!). So i overcame a HUGE fear and i'm working on conquering it altogether for the betterment (is that a word?) of Andi.
hugs, ME
Good idea Andi !
My PMA's
1. I watched a movie that I wanted to watch by myself today.
2. I told my husband I was sorry he was having a bad day but I would not let my day
be affected by it.
3. I finished up my last fasmily reunion bussines tonight and I'm not gonna worry about it till the month it's actually here.
1. I organised all my things ready for Friday evening so I can have a stress free time with family before I go out.
2. I didn't take out my frustration from work on my daughter & hubbie
3. I baked some cakes with my daughter without getting mad at her - I let her do most of it herself, how she wanted to, and didn't insist they look perfect!! This is a biggy for me - usually we both end up mad at each other!!! We had loads of fun
4. This week I have managed to not be focussed on teh scales and they have not dictated my moods. It is getting easier the longer I have them in the closet. I still get them out approx. every other day, btu I am (at the moment not a slave to them!!)
you have the most inspiring pma's!
for the first time this week i talked my son through making dinner (meatloaf and baked potatoes) and he did what i asked of him step by step as i was caught in traffic. My husband has never been able to follow as well through the whole 14 years we've been married! I was so proud of my son and the dinner was fabulous. It's hard for us control freaks to let go! Good job on the scales, i put them away i'll get on them again on Monday and see how things are going! What will your pma's be today? Hugs, ANDI
