your doctor said that you COULD loose 15 and still be fine. not that you HAD too.
YOU need to decide what YOU want to be. YOU choose the weight and the size that YOU feel comfortable in.
you need to STOP letting OTHERS tell you what BMI is right for you, including ME.
I used the BMI as a 'guide', the Doctor's recommendation as a guide, but ultimately, I started to stop when I was 'happy' and THAT was when I stopped obsessing over the scale.
if you continue to torture your self now, maybe you are not where YOU want to be. evaluate what you feel is ideal. find 10 women of your height that you find 'desirable' and ask how much they weigh.
it is hard to look at ourselves, but it is easier to look outside ourselves.
