One week doing nothing will not hurt you. Yes it's unfortunate that you gained 3 pounds, but you know how to get that moving again. For goodness sake You've lost every single week since WLS. Surely you can give yourself a break now that you ONLY HAVE 8 POUNDS TO GO TIL GOAL.
Stop being so hard on yourself. Maybe you should stop here for a while to readjust and sort out why you are obsessing and what you are going to do WHEN you get to goal.
ahhh the voice of honest, reasonable, justice speaks again and as per her norm, is correct. We all need a break from this every once in a while, we didnt' get morbidly obese because of one week without exercise. Cut yourself some slack for this week but make sure you have a game plan for next week because next week the voice of reason is going to ask you for a Friday weigh in and you want to produce a loss! THIS week i'm going to win against the scale, i want a weight loss and i'm gonna have one dang nabbit. I took a body sculpting class yesterday, i can only move very slowly today but it feels so good. I kept up with the class (although i wasn't able to hold all the poses as long as they did but each week a little more!) and I was proud of myself. I don't often go to the classes because i'm afraid people will think me foolish that i can't keep up but now i just can't care! Hugs, ANDI
