Underwear Challenges!

Anyone know how you should be buying underwear, what size undies should I buy? I've been using knots and safety pins since surgery and now it's time for me to admit defeat and go buy new undies! I'm not talking Victoria Secret stuff just your run of the mill undergarments so i'm not nekkid under my pants! Hugs, ANDI

that has been a delima for me as well.. i bought some and they didnt fit so i got smaller ones. I would say its kind of hit and miss unless someone has a better idea. So I am wearing a size small now 5/6. I thought i would get large but they were to large. underwear i think u go by the size u wear. I wear a size 5 pants so i got a size 5 underwear. it didnt work when i was doing it when i was in a size 11 pants.. i needed a smaller size.. so i dont thing that holds true for all sizes. good luck.. i got a draw of them that i cant wear now as well. Now the real challenge is a swim suit.. i went and tried some on last night.. yuck.. the thighs look terrible.. tummy not so great other than buying a full piece suit with a long legging i'm not sure how to look good in that.. i need to wear a two piece at home so i can tan my back for the psoriasis but i couldnt bring myself to buy it as bad as i looked in it.. think i am gonna look at the ones that have the bottoms with it.. they didnt have any were i went..

ok i purchased a bathing suit at Kohls last week. Now keep in mind that i need full support for the hooters or they'll pop through the top! I bought swim shorts and a tankini top with a built in underwire. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be in Sports Illustrated anytime soon, but it covers the sagging thighs which is good because they are now where my knees used to be BUT don't fear my sagging ass is where my thighs were....which leaves me with no ass but then again my back fat could be slipping down! I just bought new underwear and I LOVE THEM! They are Jockey "no panty lines" hip briefs. They are SOOOOOOO beyond comfortable! I bought a size 7, but I would easily need a size smaller if I didn't have this tummy roll of saggy skin. Which, these underwear holds that roll in place really well. And they really are very comfortable! I highly recommend you go buy a pair ... they are awesome! And it feels wonderful to wear underwear that actually fit! All my old ones are sooooo saggy! Deanna

Oh heavens, Andi! I don't mind telling you what size pants I wear! I wear a size 10 jeans. I could easily wear a size 6 in underwear but I do have a really, really big saggy tummy roll. So, the size 7 seems to fit just fine for me. Anyway, I swear by those Jockey underwear ... they are heavenly! Hee, hee! Deanna

I am in a baggy 16 or a tight 14 (depending) I got size 10 undi's and they are too big so I need the next size down... I'm not sure what that is yet...LOL, since I was in a 13 pluss before...LOL....all the extra skin is a bi....ch...need an extra size to keep it all in..

Ok here's the scoop on what the chick in Jockey said, go buy half your pants size. If you are comfy in a size 14 you'll wear a size 7 panties. If you are between sizes, go up no one wants undies that bind them and buy them cheap enough that you don't mind buying the smaller pair in a month or so. I bought a size 7 and trust me on this, nothing fancy i need them to tuck in all the stray bakery rolls i'm accummulating! I wore a tight size 10 panties when i started so this is really nifty to me. The woman in jockey didn't even look horrified when i walked in, I really must be starting to look like the "norm" Hugs, ANDI

I'm a size 16/18 clothes and I wear a size 8 in undies. I wore an 11 at my heaviest of 332 and size 24/26. I love the Hanes hipsters from WalMart. They come in a 2 pack. Really cute. They almost look like boy undies lol But the material sort of holds my tummy roll in.
