I almost lost my pants today!

I had the weirdest day at the gym today. First I dropped my son off in childcare and one of the workers asked what size I'm down to. So I told her around a 10/12 in jeans and she said that is what size she wore. My gosh, I looked at her and thought this is NO way I'm as small as she is! Anyway, I have to wear my normal bra, then a sports bra tank top to help hold my girls down cuz they are still way too big, and then I wear a t-shirt over the top of all that. I also wore some old capris pants. Anyway, I was jogging along on the treadmill and my sports bra tank top started creeping up on me. And then my capris pants started creeping down on me. Quite literally, I was having to hold onto them to keep them from falling. Talk about a major "it only happens on TV" moment about to happen! Needless to say, I quit jogging cuz I was not about to give the entire line of elliptical riders a show from behind me! And, my MP3 player pooped out of battery power so I was left with nothing to listen to. Then I managed to trip over some equipment and I got a majorly huge bruise on my shin now. I decide to call it a day at the gym, pick up my son, who has removed his pants and underwear ... what is with us today? We feel the need to expose ourselves or something! Anyway, I think I need to be brave and wear the running pants I bought. Maybe they won't fall down on me!!! Thank goodness I finally invested in some new underwear that actually or I would really be in trouble! Deanna

Oh my! Too funny of a story. I too have many workout clothes that are too big...my trainer keeps telling me to buy mediums so I won't have to keep pulling my pants up. Yes, good idea of just calling it a day.

Deanna that is just too funny...I'm sorry laughing at your misfortune, but I can just picture it. It sounds like it's come straight out of a sit com Sorry about the bruises though I really admire you Deanna, you have kept going, even when you are feeling down, and are an inspiration Yes, you are that small (& fit) - wake up and smell the roses Deanna - you are one h*ll of a woman.

Ok as i see it you've got two ways to go with this....one, you need to wear the new workout gear, you deserve it, you've earned it OR two you need to invest in some safety pins. The weight of the falling pants will keep your shirt/bra down and you can run to your hearts content unless you fall through the neck hole! ANDI

rotflmao... that would have been a kodak moment!!! my pants were falling down last week as well, I had to borrow Magnus's belt to hold them up. (magnus was born 27th of June, 2001) it is just hysterical. congratulations on your success... keep those pants falling off! I just recently saw a blurb on Yahoo regarding a clothing optional gym. perhaps this would solve your wardrobe malfunction difficulties...
