Wow Moment

In my office the doorway into the kitchen is very narrow. Before WLS I always had to turn sideways to squeeze myself through. I always thought I'll know when I'm thin as I'll be able to get through facing forwards, but to be honest this doorway is so narrow I never really though anyone could be that narrow. Well last week I was going into the kitchen and suddenly realised that I go in facing forwards now without even thinking!!! Woohoo...... and I don't even think of myself as thin yet - just managing to squeeze into a US size 12. That doorway really represents something to me, I am really achieving something here.

that is so wonderful ruth.. and size 12 is awesome.. it is the national average of normal you know.. most ppl wear that size that are normal.. so you have done fantastic.. I am so happy for you.. keep up the good work..
