WOW Moment
I can't describe the smile that went over me yesterday.
At church, one of our teens and her siblings are home-schooled. So her family decided to have her a prom set for later this month. Inviting her friends and all the highschool kids from the church. No adults allowed except for her aunt and her husband and they also asked me to help out. The kids will be decked out fully but we'll just be casual. ANYWAY...that got me thinking.
My junior prom dress (my most favorite dress in the world) still hangs in my closet. My sister wore it to her senior prom, but she had to have it altered down about 2 sizes. So this dress is now actually two sizes smaller than what I wore in highschool as a junior. I got a wild hair up my butt when I got home from church yesterday and decided to try it on. IT FIT! and I can't describe how great it felt. I'm 2 sizes smaller than I was 10 years ago as a 16 year old!!!!
I just had to share with you guys.
PLUS, when I weighed in Saturday on my mom's scales..the ones I usually go by...I ws at 212.6 SO I have lost ALL of that nasty weight gain plus an aiddtional 1.4 pounds. So I actually lost 5 pounds this week!!!!!!!!
Feeling great for a Monday!
Mandy
Mandy,
Good for you!! Isn't it a great feeling! Sometimes we just don't think we can fit into things and bam----!! I am still in denial sometimes..I will hold something up and say yea right!! Then it fits!! My scale finally moved in the last couple of days and am seeing 193!! Still slow--but my personal goal was to get into the 180's by the end of the month. I know what I can do about it to make it happen..just have to talk my head into it!!
Congrats and enjoy the prom!!
