Put a dike in that hole

Ok.. so I am like a natural gas main... I swear I have more gas than anyone should be allowed to have and smell.. OMG.. i peel the paint off the walls.. maybe even damage them. I know TMI. Last night I had a really bad case of gas and my family threatened to go to a hotel.. I couldnt help it.. my tummy was even hurting this time. Does anyone else have this problem.. Since my surgery it's like a never ending thing with me. It wouldnt be so bad if you didnt have to leave the area after.. lol.. well thats graphic enough I guess.. what do u guys to stop the gas.. I havent found a solution yet.

I'm very shyly raising my hand!!! Yes, yes, yes! I have "silent but deadly" gas ALL THE TIME! It's constant! Sometimes it's not silent but usually it is. Actually, it's worse in the evening and I don't know why. I had been taking Gas-X for it and it really helps. But I ran out and I need to wait til tomorrow (payday) to get some more! I take the chewable Gas-X and it really, really helps! Deanna

You are not alone! My husband had this surgery and about killed us all when he went to the bathroom or other!! I wasn't too bad at first after mine---but geez lately-----can't even sneak one out without anyone noticing it!! WOW!! But better out then in as they say!! My husband would always say his tummy hurt if he didn't let it rip!!! Guess it goes witht the surgery,we have to learn to live with it or kill someone from it ! LOL!!

There's a product called devrom and it is the answer for you my dear! I know that when i eat carbs the case is going to be a killer but other then that it's not too bad. Hugs, ANDI ps. one day the next door neighbor was getting a propane delivery, we go out to the car to take the youngest two to school and my princess turns to me and goes GEEZ MA what did you have for breakfast a whole loaf of bread, she was so nasty and sarcastic and i said no you smart-mouth they are getting a propane delivery. She was like *whew* i thougth we'd have to be trapped in teh car with you

OMG.. my kids think any smell now has got to be me too.. they are always saying.. mom is that you again and they dont believe me when I tell them no.. its really that bad.

Hmmm.... now, I had that problem before WLS which has been totally rectified now. For me it was almost instantanious too. I'm soooooooooo glad (my family too hee hee) that I don't have the problem any more. Good luck with it -

I didn't have any more gas than before sugery UNTIL I started eating carbs. Those bad carbs give me horrible gas, however luckily the smell is nonexistent..Go Figure. Mandy
