News on my friend in Vegas

Well I spoke with her family last night and she is still hanging on. She is responding to pain and tickling and they are trying to ween her off the respirator as she is making some breaths on her own. I spoke to Chrisy other night via the phone and her mother began crying. She said that when Chrisy heard my voice her mouth began moving and her eyes fluttered. She than opened her eyes for the first time since all this happened. They dont know if she understands or is looking at anything but its the first time all this happened. She wants me to come out again to see her. I told her of course I would so I have arranged to go out again on friday and stay through saturday to spend more time with her. Chrisy and i have a pretty special bond that 25 years of nuturing can never take away. I actually bought her her first car for christmas so she would be able to get around as a christmas present.. no not a new one.. jsut a get around one.. but we have been so close forever we have an unspoken bond that no one can penatrate. I must go see her again.. if she made attempts to talk and than opened her eyes from me just being on the phone.. i need to be there for her again in person. Maybe she will connect with someone and we will know if she is hearing us. Please keep her in your prayers...

i just talkl to them again and they say chrissy is opening her eyes once in a while now.. that is such great news.. I hope they continue to see improvement with her. She is a wonderful person with a lot of life left to give. I know if she survives it's gonna be a tough road back but with time and support she could do it.
