Well the most romantic holiday of the year. They say more flowers are sold on this day than all the flowers sold throughout the year. So what are your plans for this day. A romantic dinner for two, a movie.. do tell.. the question of the day. What was the most romantic time, event in your life? ohh getting personal today.. but its valentines day.. what better day to talk about romance..

It was surprised with a picnic spread laid out on the beach in the late evening. We had cheese, sparkling cider and finger foods.. this was 17 years ago.. a ring was presented and we are still together today.

Nothing quite romantic has ever happened to me. Hopefully that will change at some point in the future. I did get 1/2 dozen red roses from my parents delivered to my classroom today So very sweet the card said "To somone special who we are proud of. Love Momma and Daddy". I'm 26 years old and this brought tears to my eyes. It was really very sweet. But I do wish I had a love interest to be doing those sweet and thoughtful things lol. Mandy

You know what Mandy your life is going to be a bright shining star because all of us in a relationship that's gone stale or *yawn* boring will give you hints and help. Never accept a man that isnt' a gift giver, why would you want a life that is not filled with little gifts? I am truly blessed even though i fell for a man who isn't a gift giver. My husband makes me hysterical laughing he's got the best sense of humor, he is also a really hard working man and a good provider and an excellent father to our children. Long after the lust is gone in a marriage you're going to need a man who entertains you in some other way, my husband and I laugh like idiots all the time which is wonderful. With my heart, ANDI

Thanks Andi! I know I would much rather wait and find the "right" person for me, but Valentine's Day just brings out all that envy of all those who seem so happy.

operative word there is "seems" what it is on the outside may be different from the reality. I wish i had waited a bit, you are young, travel the world, see what life has to offer you then settle down. Hugs, ANDI

rather than be disappointed YET AGAIN... last night I bought MY OWN FLOWERS... my husband made a face that I did it I bought MY OWN CHOCOLATE, got him a bag too. he liked that. the most romantic time was when he and I went on a pre wedding honeymoon to Lom Norway where my fathers family is from. he proposed at a mountain chalet, actually in the cemetary (heehee) where my ancestors are burried. for us, THAT was romantic
