I only lost 6 lbs since last month. I know weight loss slows down after 6 months but I have been right at 12 lbs a month until now. Has anyone tried and had success with the platue buster diet or anyone have any recommendations on how I can boost my weight loss again??

I don't have my weightloss chart in front of me, but my loss has slowed down also. My weightloss slowed after about month 3 and stayed at around 10-12 months from months 4-7. It has slowed down last month and this month. But thats to be expected. From what I've read in your profile you've lost 138 pounds! That is wonderful. Keep your head up. Mandy

I think you are doing fantastic.. You will slow down and speed up.. it is all part of the journey.. usually when you slow down it's because your body is taking a moment to catch up.. are you exercising.. try changing up your routine to get yourself kick started again.. I have never tried the platue buster but i know a lot of ppl swear by it. good luck

Thanks for your advice. That is a good idea I will try changing my routine and see if that helps.

wow 138lbs gone already! you've done great. I think, and this is just my personal opinion, not fact, that our bodies sometimes need to 'rest' after losing loads of weight and to play catch up. You are still losing and on the journey downwards, so don't worry. You are obviously doing the right thing - keep on doing what you are and you will get to your goal in the end, even if it does take longer than you'd planned. Your body will lose at it's own rate and in it's own good time. Congratulations on your great achievment so far.

think about it Juanita, if you had 125 pounds to lose then 20% of your weight loss would be 24 pounds. If you have 25 pounds to lose then 5 pounds is 20% of your excess body weight....if you are slowing down then you need to find out how far from goal you are. ANDI the plateau buster diet is for people on a plateau you're just not losing like you want to be.
