QOTD

I officially work for the State of California but in reality I work for the court system and specifically am a courtroom clerk. I work with one Judge and we have a courtroom where we conduct all kinds of hearings including jury trials...yes just like the stuff you see on Court T.V. I am the person that sits next to the judge and administers the oaths, reads verdicts and basically runs the courtroom. I make sure everything runs smoothly and completes all the paperwork dealing with all the hearings. It's very exciting and interesting. You see the worst in society. I just sort of feel into this...I was working for the Sheriff dept. inside the jail and was going nowhere. We worked closing with courts so I transferred over about 10 years ago.
