On Track Team
Well I am off to grandmas today. She has invited some of the other family members over and we are having a pot luck. It is raining cats and dogs in So. Cal right now.. so we wont be riding the horses.. that means the kids have to stay in the house the whole day.. that's never pretty.. its much easier when they can run all over the 5 acres she's got there. Oh well it will still be fun just a little stressful with all those ppl locked in the house.
Vitamins-- done.. I am so proud of myself.. since we started this I have been taking all my meds and vitamins like a should.. thats a good thing..
Water-- always a work in progress but i get it done.
Food-
B- protein drink 250
L- meat from inside the sandwiches my mother in law got.. not sure yet
D- chicken and veggies 300 calories
S- pretzels.. i need to break this habit.. to much salt i think.
not sure about snacks.. have missed those the last few days cause I have been so busy.. will try and get them in..
Exercise- not doing any today except my tummy ones I do at night... will be out with grandma.. would have ridden the horse but with the weather that is not gonna happen.
Goal- to come home tonight and try my treadmill I have.. I have a nice treadmill I have never used.. maybe I could do that on off days from the gym.. I am just not fond of walking.. at least I dont think I am.. i need to change my thinking so I will want to do the treadmill.

I pop on my headset which has the music I like without the kids making gagging sounds (i'm an 80's girl in my 80's world!) and I dream of places i'd love to visit (barring antarctica darn those freakin' penguins).
I dream of walking the piazza in Italy, the myan ruins in Mexico, walking the hills of San Francisco or the streets of DisneyWorld. going up and down the strip in Vegas (YEAH BABY!) or even my favorite amusement park....
What i do is go to the travel agent and get free brochures or write away to the visitors bureau, they send that stuff out free and it gives me an opportunity to dream on! Hugs, ANDI
well i am staring at it.. it in the corner folded up.. hmm... head keeps saying. what a long day.. u are tired. u dont want to get on that thing.. u need rest.. u r so tired.. tune in tommorrow for the update on.. will carla get on the damn treadmill or not.. as she looks over again at it sitting in the corner.. hmm... that would mean i would have to run.. i hate running.. i wi**** was a bike or a eliptical machine.. i would do it than.. but running.. i hate running...................
It's a wet rainy day here in S. Calif. so I am stuck at home doing chores and I am finding it hard to not snack but I am resisting...here how's it's gone so far...
Vitamins: Done
Water: 1/2 way done
B: Soy crisps - 110 cal
L: South Beach chicken wrap - 160 cal
S: Protein drink with fruit, yogurt and powder - 150 cal
D: Will be Taco Soup - Thanks ANDI- Smells great! -no idea on calories.
Nibbles: 2 bites of son's lunch - BBQ smoked sausage and Mac & Cheese. -cal? Don't want to know.
Exercise: 20 mins. on Eliptical at home...may go to the gym later and run.
OMG..i hate sit ups.. but they have to be done.. i found a happy medium.. my trainer has me do it on a ball... u are getting the crunch u need without the sit up.. i hate hate hate them.. have i told u i hate sit ups.. its not the sit up that works.. its the small crunch that works.. u can get an exercise ball pretty cheap so check that out.. When u do these little crunches.. got to the right to the middle and to the left.. make sure u tighten the butt and tummy muscles.. they really haved helped.. it took everything i had to keep my tummy sucked in before.. now i dont know how to let it relax.. at the doc yesterday.. he kept saying relax your stomach.. i didnt evne know i was holding it in.. and i can really feel the muscles now.. they are getting much tighter.. u will need that when u get to plastics to help you heal better.. give it a try..
I also do leg lifts.. u go all the way up and down than half way up and down but not all the way down.. it really does work.. i do them everynight before i go to bed.
oh.. i do 3 sets of 15 or 20 of each of these.. start with these and we can move on to more after u get them mastered.. dont try and do it all at once.. u will kill yourself and never want to do them again.. i slowly worked up to that.
