On Track Team
So I got all my exercise in yesterday and I feel great.. been trying to learn to play racketball a little better.. so I finally made it through a session without hitting myself with the racket (big knot on my head), or being smacked in the face with the ball. Progress is being made..lol if you can call that progress.
Going to the derm doc today for my psoriaisis. need to get him to say I need ps for my excess skin..
So how we doing today.. ready
Vitamins-- done
Water-- always a work in progress but I usually get it done
Food-
B- protein drink-- 250
S- cheese--70
L- meat thing I bought at trader joes.. has spinach and cheese in it.. yummy.. 250
D- south beach frozen dinner-300
S- pretzels.. omg.. trainer says no more pretzels hmm.. will I be able to stop myself.. says there is to much salt in them.. but thats the part I like.. 100

Exercise- going to gym for another step class.. its fun.. didnt make my step to high which is a good thing.. i tripped on the darn thing 3 times and almost killed myself.. but it was fun. also plan to do 30 minutes on elipitical machine as well.. no trainer today.. whew...
Goal- to enjoy the day a little.. been hectic at work and home so could use some me time..
Bad last couple of days. I was home sick yesterday and went through and entire sleeve of LowFat Ritz crackers (OMG I know gggrrr). But I'm resolved to make this a better day.
vitamins - not a problem for me
fluids - already had 10 oz of decaf coffee w/splenda and 1 oz milk, 8oz of Crystal Light raspberry Ice, working on a 16 oz bottle of water ...this is above average for me YAY
Food -
Breakfast - 3/4 cup Special K Protein Plus w/ 1/2 cup milk and 1 splenda (Just tried it and I LOVE it). 15 g protein
Lunch will be South Beach Diet Grilled chicken caesar wraps and a some pineapple (21g)
S - rest of the pineapple (Dole Chunks in its own juice) and an Atkins Bar 11g
Dinner - I plan to make my chicken casserole and green beans (will be approx 20g)
S - may have a graham cracker square with 1tbspoon peanut butter and 1 oz cheese ummm so good 10g (i spread the tablespoon of peantute butter on the square then I slice two slices of cheddar cheese from a kraft block, enough that each slice covers one of the rectangles that makes up the square) not the best choice i guess but it gives me a crunch and some protein and I've been known to drink milk with it b/c I figure if the reasoning behind not drinking with a meal is getting hungry quicker..I'm going to bed so thats not a huge deal plus its extra protein. Otherwise I strictly adhere to the no fluids with meals rules. Milk it does a body good.
Exercise - been slack this week due to me not feeling so well.. I plan to go today but with the Flu spreading like crazy in our school (its been horrible here) we'll see how I feel.

I'm so glad you tried that Special K Protein Plus ... I LOVE IT! I sprinkle a few raisins on mine to sweeten it up a bit instead of the Splenda. But I like the Splenda idea too ... I might have to try that! And I don't think your graham cracker/peanut butter/cheese snack is bad! I think it's well balanced and probably helps fulfill a bit of a sweet tooth. I love eating peanut butter on graham crackers! Yum!
I'm curious ... what is your recipe for chicken casserole? I need new dinner ideas!

B- one scrambled egg with a couple bites of pancake ( pancakes i know... )
L- nothing sounds good today, will most likly have half a tuna sandwich
D- turkey cheeseburgers and veggies ( yum!!! )
S- i think i am getting addicted to light popcorn... empty calories, but i need a crunch
Liquids and Vitimins, I haven't ever started... I am getting up right now to start. I like the CL Peach Tea, it's helping me get in the fluids.
I started a food journel in my blog and for the last three days I have been keeping it, I have lost a pound a day!!! Which is really exciting because I hadn't lost anything in a while ( don't plateu's feel like they last forever ) Anyway everyone keep up the great work!!!
thats me and pretzels.. got a lecture yesterday from my trainer to not eat them anymore.. man.. thats one of the few pleasures I have.. now she wants to take that away.. good job on the food..
what kinds of things do u do for exercise.. are u saying you never take vitamins or u just havent taken them yet..lol
lol, type-o! i just hadn't taken them for the day... I took em though and I am down 20 oz of water so far. I am peeing so much it is CRAZY!!! I have been really bad with exercise lately, normally I go to the y and walk, but I really like the classes. I stick with platies, yoga, and zumba. you might not think of these as high energy, or that they will burn off any cal ( and ok they might not burn as much as spin ) but boy they will get you toned! my cousin swears by them, i took pliaties two days ago and i still feel it in my stomach! i have an hour yoga class tonight.
glad to see you back.. sorry u werent feeling well, its going around. My kids were all sick last weekend, but somehow I have avoided it (knock on wood). I think I am gonna have to try that cassorole di**** sounds wonderful. I do something similar to that but I make a chicken pot pie.. I use the canned chicken, cream of chicken soup and frozen mixed veggies (corn, carrots and peas). than I buy the pie crust you get in the store make the bottom.. dump it in and put the top crust on and bake.. it is so yummy..the cracker idea is great though I like that..
Sounds like you are on track and doing good.. get that gym bag back in the car and do that stop off after work.. you can do it.. just take it easy on yourself.. sweating and cooling down could make you sicker.
