Hey Guys, I hope everyone is well on this freezing cold Monday!!! I am recommeting myself to stay on track, starting today! This is the first time ever that I am making FOR SURE, that I am getting all my liquids in. I am halfway down, and I am sick of water. Crystal light or tea without caffine would count right??? Please tell me yes, cause one more sip of water and I might puke!!! *hugs* jacqui

From what I have heard it counts, I hope so or will be in trouble! I have heard anything without caffiene or high calorie count, counts.

Howdy Jacqui my surgery'sistah! How have you been, long time no chat? Crystal light counts, decaf tea/coffee count, people water down juice to a 50/50 ratio that counts. You can NOT count carbonated beverages, caffeinated beverages and high calorie sippy stuff! There are people who count the isopures towards their liquid intake, they are a protein and thereby can't be counted towards liquid (per the nutritionist that i speak with). Hope this helps you, if not, consider yourself hugged and carry on girly! ANDI

okay, here is what I consider as COUNTING: if it is liquid, it counts HEHEHEHEHE seriously: for me a GOOD DAY: AM: 20 oz of Louetta Blend coffee or high octane breakfast tea (Earl Grey or Bond Street English Breakfast Blend) PM: 20 oz of propel or russian caravan tea Late PM: 20 oz of chamomile tea

I'm with Kat on this one. If its liquid I count it. I do try to avoid caffeine all together but sometimes I can't. I have decaf tea at home sweetened with splenda, but at school I always have about 18-20 oz of caffeinated tea with splenda. I usually drink decaf coffee but if I get to the coffee pot late I have to take whats left. I do NOT drink carbonated beverages and I drink very little caffeine. My surgeon's office lets us count our milk towards our fluid intake also. We are supposed to aim for 72 - 100 oz with at least 1/2 being water BUT I never get that much in. I consider it a good day to get in 64 oz of fluids. I do like Crystal Light. I like the pouches for bottled water AND the prebottled ones too. Mandy
