Scales: Kind or Deceiving??

I've been really struggling with the scales lately. I've bounced back and forth with the same 2 pounds for the past 3 weeks. For about the past 2 months on Fridays I weigh on the "balance" scales in the nurse's office here at school, then on Saturdays I weigh at my mom's on the scales I've been weighing in on since surgery. The two sets of scales have been known to be a little off and I don't know why I continue to weigh on the ones at school (other than the fact that I'm addicted to the scales even though it disheartens me so). Bottom Line LAST SATURDAY my mom's scales 218.8 FRIDAY on school scales 218.4 SATURDAY on mom's scales 216 and 215.2 on Sunday. I always weigh at the same time on Saturday (between 1:00 and 2:00). I'm really excited about what the scales said but I'm also worried that they'll jump right back up. Even though I made some poor choices where carbs are concerned I did get in some exercise and MORE fluids this past week. So do I count my 216 or not? Heck yeah I count it and if it shoots back up next week, I'll deal with it then. I started not to post anything about this and just wait until Friday and hope I had a big loss for the Friday Weigh In post but I just couldn't resist. Thanks for letting me ramble, Mandy

Hey Mandy, yes I would count it!! Every little bit helps huh? I know when I lose a lb or 2 it gives me the motivation to keep on keeping on!! You have the right attitude that if it shoots back up you can deal with it then, but it sounds like You were just working your tool-you drank more fluids & you exercised more!! sooo heck yeah I'd count it!! ~Missy~
