Sorry It's Been So Long !!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say hello, esp to Ruth. It has been so long since I have been on the boards. OMG there has been so much going on. I have been really ill and in the hospital (blah blah blah...will update my profile asap). But everyone seems to be doing great. And I feel so much better, knowing that my wt loss is not too far off with all the surgeries that I have undergone. I started at 307 and now weigh 185. So I feel good about that. Anyway, it feels good to be back on the boards, and know I am not alone in some of the things I am going through (like being cold all the time). Talk to you guys soon.

Hi Angela good to have you back...let us know what's been going on. You haven't updated your profile since June 06!!! I'm worried about you - what's been going on? This board is a great place to be - fun, supportive, understanding, I could go on and on. I agree it is so helpful to find others going through the same things (like being cold!). Look forward to seeing more of you...

Hi Angela, I can certainly relate to you!! I haven't updated my profile either due to complications & additional surgeries & depression!! Getting ready for another surgery soon. I even backed away from this board for a while, but came to realize I just had to jump back in here (last week as a matter of fact) because this is the one place everyone will understand what we are going through!!! I am going to make it my goal to continue to be supportive & post here & to update my profile before the end of Feb. Just know we are all here for you when you are ready!!! You are definetly not alone in any of this especially the being cold all the time. (((Hugs))) ~Missy~

Hi welcome back!

Thanks everyone !!!! It may take me a bit to get all updated but I will. My school has started back already, I can't believe I graduate this May, it has been so hard. But a quick overview. When I had my bypass they found some enlarged lymph nodes, that further developed into enlarged liver and spleen and fluid built up around my heart. They drained the fluid 3 times and then ended up having the lining around my heart removed. I also had some nodes from my lungs and a section of my lung removed. But so far no cancer anywhere, the dr's think it is lupus. Gotta go for now, talk more later.
