My 9 month post-op check up ...
Hello everyone!
I had my 9 month post-op check up today, even though I'm not quite 9 months out, this is just how the scheduling fell.
Anyway, I'm all excited about it ... my body fat started at 49% and is now down to 23%. They made my goal weight 175, which would keep me in a healthy body fat percentage range ... so I'm only 4 pounds above that goal! They said I could probably go as low at 165, but my surgeon said any lower than that and I would look "weird." Hmmmm! So, I'm striving for 165 but I'll be happy at 175. My starting weight was 307 and I've now lost 127 pounds! Wow!
I also got to meet our fellow May person, Joe S. We've been e-mailing since our surgeries after finding out we're both from Oregon and had the same surgeon. Anyway, he is VERY nice and handsome and it was exciting to meet a fellow board member! I wish we could all have some sort of reunion! Wouldn't that be fun?
Anyway, Joe, you're cool and I enjoyed finally meeting you!

Deanna, I am so proud of you & for you!!! You have done so great!!!Not just on the weight loss but also coming out of your shell & trying new things!!!You are an inspiration!!!
Getting to meet Joe sounds so cool!! It sure would be a blast if we could all get together kind of like the Lexington thing they did on the main board!!
