Totally OT: Las Vegas ...
Oh Andi, I can always count on you for a good chuckle!
I'm hoping to NOT go to any buffet restaurants and hopefully my husband will just share his meals with me! I'll just promise to feed him more often and I'm sure he'll agree.
What was the stratosphere like? I want to do that sooooo bad but I know my husband is too chicken. I might have to grab a handsome stranger to go with me! Hee, hee!

Howdy Deanna! I just want you to know that i had to pick up a stranger to ride with and that was cool! I so enjoy a buffet but not at the cost of a full price adult meal. For some reason i do well when there are choices to make, most of the buffets have a carving station and those are always fresh and wonderful. NEVER eat eggs benedict off of a buffet....just Andi the culinary wonder telling you her truths. ANDI
Hi Deanna,
My hubby and I just got back a couple of weeks ago. It was like a second honeymoon. Hoover Dam was amazing. We didn't take the official tour because we were pressed for time. We drove over to Phoenix for the Championship game. The mountains and desert were amazing to us midwesterners!
Make sure you see the Venetian. The marble is gorgeous. Ceasar's Forum shops have the amazing statues that move. Bellagio has the dancing water fountains. The Luxor is a must see. Ride the rides on top of the Stratosphere. MGM has Studio 54 if you like to dance. There is a big mall on the strip close to Treasure Island. Macy's gives an 11% discount to out-of-towners there if you go to the visitors counter on the first floor near the MAC cosmetics counter.
Enjoy each other!

Hi Deanna!
How fun! I LOVE Vegas! We live like 2 hrs away, so any chance I get I'm there! lol Everyone has given you great ideas, but definitely see a show if you get the chance. They are so much fun! If you like Magic, try to see Lance Burton, he is awesome. My mom and I saw him years ago before he had all his tv specials and he is great. There is also Rick Thomas (I think that's his name) and he's pretty good too. If you like comedy, there is a Comedy Stop at the Tropicana and they have awesome comedians perform there, hubby and I went on our honeymoon and it was super fun! Next time we go I hope to see Blue Man Group. The fountain shows at the Bellagio are beautiful. If you like marine life Shark Reef at Mandalay is pretty cool, and if you get a chance definitely go see The Freemont Street Experience at night! Other than that, you could stay busy just walking through all the casinos, they are amazing and I know I never get sick of them!
Hugs!
Bobbie
