Hi all - You will be happy to know that the "most depressing day of the year" is now over. Researchers have found that the last Monday of the last full week in January is most depressing, because of the weather, holiday credit card bills becoming due, new years resolutions going down the toilet, etc etc. Now only 5 months until the "happiest" day of the year - 6/22. Take care, Heather

That's good! I know I have been a bit bluesy.... But at least we are the few who can make a New Years resolution to loose weight, exercise and eat healthy and say we are doing it... (Ok at least most of the time)....LOL

Ok Heather i have to know, what makes 6/22 the happiest day of the year? The most depressing day of the year for me is 3/2 and I'll be relying on you all VERY heavily to get me through that day, I'm already tearing up just thinking about it. Hugs, ANDI

Thank you so much Ruthy girl, you've got my email now so if i ever go missing in action please feel free to email me. I sometimes feel that i'm going to poison you all with my negative moods and I don't want that. 3/2 is the day that i gave birth to my stillborn son Jonathon, he'd have been 13, this year, we'd have been planning his Bar Mitzvah, it's still hard for me. I know i've got three beautiful, healthy children and that I'm really blessed by G*D but I still miss the first one. Hugs, ANDI

I can see why this year is going to be a hard one for you. Even though it was 13 years ago, he is still you son and always will be. Not only do you have the grief of loosing him, but I imagine the grief of the hole that is left in your family (such as family events, etc.) I pray God will allow you to 'see' your son and where he is now - in peace in God's prescence. You will NEVER poison us if you are in a negative mood. Now stop that talk and wash your mouth out with soap! That is what true friends are for. We want to be here for you so hiding away. Just think, in those times we can 'poison' you with our positivity Remember a smile is contagious and electronic ones count too. So there

Hi Andi - Definitely use us for support on 3/2. We're all here for you! I think 6/22 is considered the happiest because its the summer solstice and the longest day of the year, the weather is nicer (before it gets too hot), and kids are out of school. Frankly, I can't wait! Take care, Heather

Thank you for your kind words Heather they mean more to me then you'll ever know. I think for me the happiest day of the year is 5/18 because that's the day i got my life back. Don't get me wrong, this weight loss did not bring with it the happiness and contenment that i thought it would but it gave me back my health and my self esteem and that's so important. Hugs, ANDI
