% of weight loss
What % of your additional weight have you lost so far?
Here's the math (someone correct me if I've got it wrong!)
Divide the number of total pounds you originally wanted to loose by 100 which equals 1% then divide the number of pounds you have already lost by the 1% number. This gives the % of the total weight you wanted to loose you have already lost. Hope that makes sense!!
Anyway, I wanted (and still do) to loose a total of 131lbs. So 1% = 1.31lbs. I have already lost 78lbs so 78 divided by 1.31 = 59.54% lost so far.
Yay, over half way there. ONLY 40.46% to go
I started at 363.5
Today I am 203 so a loss of 160.5 lbs
My Dr's goal is 190
So that would be a loss of 173.5
That would mean 160.5 divided by 1.735% = 92.51%
Still to lose: 7.49%
My goal is 170
So that would be a loss of 193.5
That would mean 160.5 divided by 1.935% = 82.95%
Still to lose: 17.05%
Almost there....I have been to see a plastic surgeon already and he said I would probably lose around 15 lbs from the skin removal having a tummy tuck and breast lift. So that would put me under my Dr's goal and almost to my goal.
Well if I go by the doctors goal of 150 pounds I have met that with 100%.. actually one pound over that...
Now I am gonna try to do my goal weight thing...
I want to weigh 135 pounds..
I weighed 264 pounds at surgery
Thats 129 pounds i want to loose
I have lost 115 pounds so far
I have lost 89% of the weight I wanted to loose.
I hope I did that right...
I have reached my surgeon's goal of 75% of my excess weight lost. I am now at 163 (have lost 112 pounds)
I am now trying to reach my goal and get to 130. I am only 5 foot 2 inches tall so that is reasonable and may even want to get a little lower. I remember weighing 130 in high school and I was OK with that.
