WDYE Thursday?
B - protein shake
S - handful of pretzel snacks
L - 2oz tuna and 1oz chicken
S - 2 bites of chocolate
S - 1 bag of 70 calorie chips
D - 3oz chicken 1 tablespoon potato
Slightly better than other days. I feel a bit more in control of the carb monster, not totally there yet though. Tomorrow is another day
B: 3/4 cup Special K Protein Plus cereal with skim milk
S: Danon Light & Fit yogurt
L: half a ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat, half an apple
S: don't know yet
D: I'm making chicken enchiladas for the family ... I'll eat the insides minus the tortilla
S: will have some sort of snack after the gym. It's Spin class tonight so I'll need to refuel! I burn a lot in that class!

For me
B- oatmeal (healthy choice) 120 calorie
L- 2 oz pork meat, 1 oz salad, 2 bites of vegetable soup, 1 oz of crab meat.. all estimates.. not quite that much of each. 350 calories I think.
D- Tri tip 3 oz and some squash... 300 calories.. i dont know how to do the calories still learning...
s- yes.. i cant help it.. i will probably eat those darn pretzels again.. 100 calories.
My doc gets mad at me.. says i need to eat at least 900 calories a day.. I dont think I am making it since i changed out the protein shake for the oatmeal.. but I feel fuller in the morning since i made the change. the protein shake goes through me to much and i always ended up having a snack at 9... So instead of 350 calories for my breakfast/snack time I am only getting 120.
What do you think.. am i getting enough protein in or do i still need to add the shake (200 calories).. with the oatmeal maybe.. guys am I doing ok
Try logging it on fitday.com....I use it religiously and it really helps you keep track. That way you dont have to figure out the protein or the carbs or calories. I love it.
I also use this advanced whey protein from walmart. The brand is 6 flags ...i love the chocolate one and i do one shake a day. The protein has 91 calories in it and I have it with 8 oz skimmed milk. It can be mixed with water but I prefer not to.

D- 3/4 c homemade beef stroganoff
I will have a snack tonite...not sure what though. My nutritionist says I need to eat more carbs so I guess maybe some pretzels or something like that. I have only had 41 carbs and she said she would like to see me eat around 100. I am not gonna make that mark today. Just not hungry.
Well my opinion for what it's worth is this:
Hey Carla - you have reached NORMAL weight...LISTEN TO ME...of course you are doing OK.
Re getting enough protein ~ you could always have a protein drink mid morning. That way, you are upping your calories and protein without getting hungry mid morning if you have it for breakfast. Use it as a suppliment instead of a replacement?
B -7:45 coffee
L - 10:30 - 2 1/2 hotwings w/ ranch dip (our school's hotwings are awesome...fried but awesome! One of the few times I wish I could've eaten more) and 1/2 cheese biscuit (another awesome morsel from the school lunchroom, most of the food is NO good, but the few things are good are out of this world)
S - 12:30 - 1 single serving bag of doritos, 1:45 - 1 single serving bag of Chex Mix (we have to sell "healthier" snacks at school (no candy) and since I love carbs this is hard for me, because we sell them out of our classroom YIKES).
D - 6:45 - 1/2 peanut butter sandwich w/ 8 oz 2% milk (really filled me up)
S - 9:00 - 2 handfuls of popcorn
