My latest wow moment was when the mother of my daughters friend saw me for the first time since July and didn't recognise me to start with. What's your latest wow moment?

This list could go on and on. But my favorite lately: I've started reading alot lately (my "me-time") I sit in my recliner and pull my knees up near my chest and just snuggle under blanket and read. Its so funny. I don't remember how I even sat pre-op. It was soooo uncomfortable in any way. lol I'm noticing my legs getting smaller. My 18 old navy pants are too big now. I'm gonna try to hold off though on buying more. I'm in XL fitted button up shirts now. I just feel great!

I have a couple ... My size 12 jeans are starting to get baggy. Gotta love that one! Also, I have a jewelry box with a spot on the top you can insert a photo. There is a picture in there of my husband and me right before we got married 13 years ago. Anyway, my 2 year old son was looking at the picture and saying "Daddy" so I asked him who the lady was (me). He didn't know. He kept saying "Don't know. Who is it?" He didn't recognize me!!! One more ... I was going through all my photos and sorting them and organizing them and I was just shocked at how rolly polly I looked. I sat crying and crying as I was organizing them because I couldn't believe the dramatic difference I could see. Honestly, I knew I was overweight at the time but I never felt THAT big. Now I can truly see the difference. It made me sad though that I spent that many years being so heavy. But it was also a good feeling knowing how far I've come! Deanna

My wow moment is that I just began walking on my treadmill in the basement instead of driving to the gym ( too cold at 7am to leave the house) Anyway, I used to walk at a 2.5 and work up to walking as fast as 3.3 - which was absolutely all I could do for 1 mile. Now I am beginning my walk at 3.4 and working up to 4.2 and even running at 5.0 for a little over a minute at a time before cooling down after 2 miles. I just cant believe how much stronger my ankles, legs, feet - everything is now that Im down over a 100 lbs. It feels great to work out and feel good. Kathryn
