* 1 pound ground beef (I use ground turkey) * 3 cups Prego Traditional Spaghetti sauce (I don't measure it, I just use the whole jar) * 6 dry lasagna noodles (I use whole wheat) * 1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese * 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese * 1/4 cup water In skillet, cook beef until browned; stir to separate meat. Add Prego sauce. Heat through, stir often. In a 2-quart oblong baking dish, spread half the Prego/meat mixture. Top with 3 dry lasagna noodles, half of the ricotta and half of the mozzarella. Place down 3 more dry lasagna noodles and top with the remaining ricotta and mozzarella. Top with remaining Prego/meat mixture. Slowly pour 1/4 cup water around the inside edge of the dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. and the noodles will soften as they cook? I made eggplant parmagiana yesterday that was so easy and so good i may not make it the old fashioned way ever again. There is a brand called Dominix or something like that and it's frozen eggplant sliced, i poured sauce on the bottom of the pan, then covered them with a layer of eggplant sliced, slathered on some ricotta cheese and some mozzarella (salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder) then another layer of frozen eggplant slices (i used two boxes for two layers) and then another of the cheese, I covered it with foil then let it go for an hour at 350 it was so good and rich tasting and so freakin' easy. I'm all about the easy recipes lately. Hugs, ANDI
