Me too I am so disappointed with my choices at the moment. I am trying to remind myself that in no way am I even close to what I would have snacked on before, but as Kat said, it seems like all I've done & learnt after WLS has gone out the window, and I keep wanting to snack. It is getting less each day so I'm hoping it will eventually stop, but............. call me a cow and put me out to pasture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems like we are all struggling with this - come on girls, lets sort each other out. Step away from the snacks WE CAN DO THIS - ya'll hear me, YES WE CAN. We've done it before, we have shown ourselves how we can make the right choices and we are gonna do it again. We are not gonna let our old habits control our lives again. I'm going to start a post each day about snacking so I can be accountable to you guys. You are welcome to join in , and I promise to be completely honest Why is it when I have to tell others what I am eating I am more likely to eat right??? I have to admit it and can't hide it in my body!!

Thanks Ruth, I went to get some more healthy snacks and my light and fit yogurt and smoothies. I do find that when I pre-plan and shop when I NEED to, I do much better.

how I did today: I missed breakfast, but I found a gingersnap cookie in the car. so does that count as breakfast (good) or snack (bad)? I forced myself to get lunch at 2 pm, wendy's small chili (good) and a large rootbeer (fluids:good, empty calories:bad) I finished off said cookie on the way to the market to get dinner fixins had 1/2 a soft shell taco with 5 tiny beef strips, 2 bell pepper strips, 1 onion strip, a lot of guacamole, and some sour cream so all in all, the choices were really good for meals, but not soo good on that cookie and that rootbeer (should have gone with the diet coke or even better with water but much better than this weekend with the egg custard flan. I did store some vitamins in the car to help me keep up on that.

Hi Simone!! My weight loss has been slow too, it seems like I lose a pound or two and then stay the same for a couple weeks. I feel happy now if I lose 5 pounds in a month. It makes me wonder if I really am ever going to reach goal. I'm happy about what I've lost but I get discouraged when I read this board in particular because so many here have lost so much more than I have in the same amount of time. Do you get hungry? I don't actually feel hungry but it seems like my "appetite," or maybe it's my almost uncontrollable desire to snack, has returned. I gotta get a handle on it.... Karen
