Christmas Candy & food

okay, I am getting mixed reviews from my pouch. I had a sugar free googoo cluster and dumped big big big time. had a small bag of funyuns today without effort. however, as for 'real food' I have had cottage cheese in a normal portion, fish portion for lunch a little bigger than normal, and a chicken portion for dinner, smaller than normal. all in all, I would say a good day. noticed that I was coveting all the candy during my shopping this week. this is going to be my downfall, the 'cookies' and gunk.

The one thing I learned is that I can do without the goodies and still be happy. I am more active, but I am not very discplined at working out. I am sitting here in my office with candy and cookies (given to me by co-workers) and I have not been tempted to endulge. Its a very empowering feeling that food no longer controls me. Don't know if that will last :0, but for know I will not complain. Happy holidays to all of my May WLS friends.

By the way, I forgot to add that I say this from a lap-band point of view. I hope it didn't come across as arrogant or anything. Since I don't have mal-absorbtion or dumping, I feel I have to be a little more strict on myself to accomplish what you have. You all look great.

I think everything in moderation.... I can't eat sweets (dump)... but I do eat s/f... from time to time.... I just don't overdo it
