The other night I watched the UK version of Biggest Looser final - wow what a dramatic change in the woman who won! She lost 46.9% of her body weight in total and ended up at 135lbs. She looked stunning - really inspirational. Anyway, does anyone know how to work out the % figure? I'd like to figure out mine and keep a running total.

Ruth, Sorry That I can not give you a formula to calcute you % loss, but you have lost a total of 27%. This is the way I do it, Take your beginning weight, 266 and multiply it times 0.27 You will get the number 71. As you lose more, just increase the 0.XX number to find out your % -. I am sure there is an easier way, but My brain is not working that well today. Gaye

Hi Ruth! My way of computing is a little different, but it comes up with the same thing. I just take the 71 lbs you've lost and divide it by the 266 that you started out at and it ends up being .2669... So then I just move the decimal over 2 since you'ver going by % and you end up with 26.7% Have a great day!! Hugs, Bobbie

I just did mine 107 (amount lost) divided by 332 (starting weight) = 32.2% Interesting post!
