OT ... I'm steaming!!!

Ruth...This is the first time in probably 6 weeks I have checked our forum. Always the last quarter of each year my company (or I should say the sales people) go bonkers trying to make all their "numbers". This has a trickle-down affect...down to the technical people (me) who have to make happen all the stuff they sell at the end of the year...needless to say it's very busy!! Then we have been helping out a dear friend of ours who is in the final stages of liver cirrhosis. Absolutely awful to watch. And if that wasn't bad enough, then my broadband has been down for 12 days, and I've been forced to go back to dial-up. I just did what I had to absolutely do, because I was ready to pull my hair out (what's left of it anyway) waiting for screens to come up. Ruth...you look amazing!! I love your new picture!!! I need to get some new pictures taken. I was going to do it at 6 months, but never got around to it, maybe there will be some decent Christmas pictures I can post. Of course posting means I've got to finally bite the bullet and update my profile into the new format.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Have you had your liver profile checked recently - how is it? Better I hope. Will you get to have a rest from work at christmas? Thank goodness for broadband - I used to get so frustrated on dial up, waiting for ages for anything to load. It would be great to see a new pic of you - bet you've changed so much.

I can relate and have learned to gave my husband a list and remind him a week in advance and then again a few days later. So he has no excuse. My birthday was a few weeks back and my husband gave me a card with a "husband remote" It had buttons for things for you husband to do for you for the day"... Geee no matter how many times I pushed that darn button It did not work. As I made my own s/f low fat cake and did the dishes...LOL... I told my husband it or he was broken...LOL
