Do you get "hungry"??
if I skip a meal or if I eat a fully laden carb meal, I get to the point that I am starving. which has been frequently lately. I really need to break that cycle. today I am back on schedule with food, I just hope that I can keep it up all day long. it is usually always good in the morning, cottage cheese and blue berries, something to drink, but by 2 pm I realize that I totally missed lunch, and then by 4 I am starving and by bed time I am in a fog what did I eat and when?
I never get that "starving" feeling, I do get a feeling of emptiness and grouchiness if I need to eat. I'm so afraid of failing at this (like all the other times) that I look at carbs (bad ones) almost like they're poison. I know if I start snacking on them, I'll be a gonner..... And, I work in a doctor's office with a very large staff - - patients and staff are always bringing candy, cookies, cake, you name it. Plus, at this time of the year the gifts from other practices start pouring in. Thank God I still have "the fear!"
