Ok.. so I followed your suggestion and I am eating the hard proteins and have omited the snack I was eating each day. It seems to be working cause I have lost 2 pounds since I started it. I have reduced my caloric intake as well from 900 to about 600 calories a day. I do feel fuller and cant eat as much when I eat the harder proteins, sot that is a plus. Now lets see if the scale will keep moving for me. I went about a month with only loosing a couple pounds... Now for the bigger challenge... exercise... I dont do it. I have so much flab I am starting to worry. So I need to get off my butt and start doing sit ups or something....lol

What are considered hard proteins?

lean meats: chicken, beef, turkey, pork. stuff you have to 'chew' and 'chew' not soft ones like eggs, cheese, and drinks.

That is good advise for us Lap-Banders as well. Slowly eating hard proteins helps the hunger stay away longer. . Sounds like your doing great.
