Are you at or close to your goal weight?
I am 48 lbs away from my doctors goal he set of 170 lbs. My personal goal is 170 also. I started out at 363.5 and have lost 145.5 lbs so far. So that will make a grand total loss of 193.5 lbs by the time I am done.
Congrats on being so close to goal. I need a few more months and I will be at mine also....I figure by April....I take it all in small steps and it seems to be working.

I am in the home stretch, less than 10 lbs to go and I am finding that I spend less and less time on the scale 'checking' my progress. it is a blessed relief to get over the scale addiction and the food monitoring.
I am less stressed about my quantities and portions. I know now about what I can and can not do. occasionally I mess up, like earlier this week, I had some contraband meatloaf that was not lean and I paid the price. but for the most part, I am able to sail through my days.
if I go to bed or wake up achey I know that my fluid intake is agonizingly low.
I started out 275 consult
I have lost 116 total
88.5 post op
I am +9 lbs and 40 week post consult and 28 weeks post op from goal.
I am 1.4 pounds from my personal goal weight, am already about 20 pounds under the doctor's conservative goal weight. Had my checkup Friday and the PA said I don't need to lose another pound, they are thrilled with my weight. No eating issues either. Down 104 pounds since surgery, 121 since heaviest ever. Life is good.

I have about 30lbs left to the surgeon's goal and 45 to my personnal goal and i believe that slow and steady will win this! I am now losing pitifully slow and i think for some reason my body is hoarding fat for the winter. I'll just keep dancing and laughing it off as long as i possibly can.
