Today is our annual Staff Holiday Treats in the conference room. All the faculty and staff from the school bring finger foods to share with each other. Then the principal, asst. principal, and counselor walk around and relieve the teachers to go and get a plate. Well today's spread is awesome, but definately not made with me in mind (lol). So I went and made me a plate. I got about 5 wheat thins and 10 club crackers, 2 tablespoons of 4 different kinds of dips/cheeseballs, 2 "little smokies", 1/4 of a key lime square, 1 oreo ball, 2 cubes of cheese, and 2 slices pepperoni. I'm SMILING AT MY PLATE as my 3rd graders finish their writing assessment, because I've eaten until I'm full and my plate looks no different than when I fixed it. I ate about 1 bite of the oreo ball, 1 bite of chocolate pound cake (to die for) and 1 club cracker (I made 4 bites out of it so I could try each dip once. and I am stuffed. I'm smiling also because last year I would have eaten ALL OF THAT and MORE when lunch time came (10:30). It feels so GREAT to be able to ENJOY this experience and feel gross, fat, disgusting because of the quantity I've eaten. HAPPY HUMPDAY! Mandy We get out Friday. The kids leave at 12:30 and I can leave at 1:30 YAY!!!!!!!

That's great Mandy. We had our staff christmas lunch today as it was the last day of semester and I too ate very little and enjoyed it. gave my dessert to Ron (hubbie), and ate mostly turkey meat had 2 small roast potatoes a carrot and felt full. A wonderful feeling.

very good choices and very good job. you are doing fantastic. last night's dinner was great, I ordered 'normal' food, but took home 90% of it. today I had a saucer for lunch. I love the feeling of being full after eating a 'normal' portion.
