Skin Issues
A couple of notes regarding the "flabbies".
1 - I'm really freaked out that i'm not going to be able to wear shorts this summer. My thighs look gross with extra skin. Anyone else have this problem?
2 - My stomach is totally flat with the exception of the extra skin. The extra skin is causing itchy rashes that are becoming raw because I itch so much. Any hints or anyone else with this?
3 - My arms aren't so bad when I flex a muscle however when they're just hanging there - not so much. ugh.
I am right there with you Megan. I work out with a personal trainer 5x per week but still have some flabbiness going on. Isn't is ironic that when we feel comfortable enough to FINALLY wear shorts, something like this makes us feel like we shouldn't.
I am envious of your flat tummy...I still have a few to lose (around 25 more pounds) but I know it's frustrating.
Arms? I keep working out and lathering on the "tightening" lotion...it's a mind thing I know it probably doesn't help.
You look great...if your not comfortable with the regular short...how about the longer one...the cute just above the knee ones are everywhere and super cute!
how's about, for a change of pace, you say f*ck it and wear the short with your head held high and your shoulders back? Take pictures of the itching and what not make sure you go to the your doctor so he can document it and you can get a tummy tuck if you are so desirous and lastly stand in a big breeze during a wind and see if you can take off on your own....call it an adventure! Well, I have extreme saggy skin issues. Especially on my chest and stomach. My cup size literally has not gotten any smaller. I'm sooooo beyond long and saggy and I am in desperate need of a breast reduction. My stomach isn't any better. I have a spare tire around my lower abdomen and then another smaller roll above that.
My inner thighs are very saggy and dimply. My upper arms are the same. And my butt is sagging now too. I'm not near as concerned about them as I am my chest and stomach.
Unfortunately my insurance won't pay for any plastics whatsoever so I need to come to grips with my skin and make some sort of attempt to love the sag! I work out a lot at the gym but there's no amount of strength training I can do to shrink the skin!
I have been using St. Ives Skin Firming lotion every day and I think it helps keep the itchiness away!

I am with you also. My arms used to be great, but now it seems that when I am using the blowdryer, something keep****ting my side. I finally realized it was my skin waving back at me. As long as my arm is down, it is fine. If I raise my arm up, that is a different story.
I have a "roll" of skin under my belly button (above crotch) that is causing me issues. I am wearing a size 12, but to do that I have to manhandle the "roll" into the jeans and then they are fine. I just cannot pull up the pants and go.
I always said that since I was in so much pain with the bypass that I would never have the skin reduction surgery (I HATE pain), but I am starting to reconsider that. I just want to be able to look and act like a 27 year old. Atleast I have 1 1/2 years to figure out how to pay for it!!!

I have worn and will always wear short, no matter how bad I look. how bad is that? heehee
My stomach is fine, until I am on my hands and knees cleaning the floor with a baby wipe, and then I see a line down the middle and to completely gross flaps of skin and I wonder what the hell happened there?
my arms are the least of my problems.
the girls. the girls are nearly as bad as my stomach. EWH!!
actually the itchies for me are on my lower back, I really need some good lotion.
