Wow wow wow Carla
You have done amazingly. The pics really show the difference.
How is your psorisis and arthritis? Have they improved any? I have bad psorisis, thankfully don't have the related arthritis. I was hoping that it would improve once I lost weight, but it hasn't made a difference yet. Is the medication for the psorisis or arthritis? I use a mixture of creams and medicated tape, but they don't help much. I used to be on tablets, but had to come off as they were affecting my liver.
Sorry to get off topic - just that I don't know anyone else with psorisis.

Yes, I have arthritis as well. I am on the pills, which I hate and I have to have an infusion of remicade every 6 weeks so I can use my hands.. it really makes a difference. the remecade also helps with my skin problems. My psoriasis is so bad my fingernails were coming up. It pretty much covers my back and lower buttocks area. With the excess skin i have noticed now that I have some showing up on my lower butt area ( i know tomuch info) and under the fold on my stomach. my doc increased my remecade to the maxium dose and moved it from every 8 weeks to every three weeks trying to get it in check. I also got some new topicals and have an appointment with a derm doc to see what they can do. Someone told me because I have guatate psoriasis I would qualify for ps.. I hope thats it true. It has gotten bettter but i dont know if its from the weight loss or the remecade. I began that about 2 months before i had the wls. I think i was showing improvement before the surgery with the new medication.. and it has gotten worse over the past 5 months. They said that would happen because of the changes in my body with the weight loss.... so go figure.
ps there is a new medication out I am hoping to get from my derm doc. cant remember the name but it was just approved by the FDA. I met a girl with terrible psoriasis that says it cleared it right up and she says nothing has ever worked. its expensive and most insurances wont cover it.. but i am gonna try and appeal their denial when i see the derm doc. good luck... write me.. we can talk and maybe find the answers together for both ps and psoriasis.
opps... to answer your question.. the remecade was ordered my my arthritis doc but you can get it ordered for skin as well if everything else has failed.. i tried embrel.. it didn't work and i really hated giving myself shots and about every cream you can think of. have an arthritis doc helped a lot cause it made it easy to get the remecade. Just ask your derm doc and see what he says. If your psoriasis is really bad they can ask for it. plus wont hurt to show u need more for the ps later..
