Happy 6 months post-op!

I didn't even recall that this forum existed! When I saw it I wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing 6 months post-op?? I had my follow-up appt. with my surgeon yesterday and all is good. I have no trouble with foods and never have. I make myself eat good, healthy things and I've yet to try anything with sugar. I don't want to find out for sure that I don't dump---cuz I never have. So, I'll keep on keeping on and will hopefully lose the rest of my weight this next 6 months! Can you believe it's been HALF A YEAR already??? Hope to hear from you May '06 folks! 11/23 Turkey Day was 6 months for me! I go for my 6 month post op appt tomorrow. I too have been able to eat most anything I have tried. I have taken a bite or two of something with too much sugar in it and gotten really naseaus and sleepy. I've had diarrhea a few times but vomitting yet. I am with you, I often forget about his board. Mostly RNY folks here, but I enjoy seeing everyone's success regardlees of WLS type! In some ways I actually relate to RNY very well as I have lost 122 pounds so far with the lapband. This 6 months have just flown by. Here's to the next 6 months!
