New Christmas pics

Hey all. I had pics taken with my husband exactly on my sixth month surgery anniversary and we are going to use them for our christmas cards. They are in my profile. Our friend Gary took the pictures. he is retired Navy and the Navy trained him as a photojournalist so he always takes great pictures! BUT!!!! I think my face looks fatter this month than last month at five months out in the red dress. I have lost 12 pounds, but my face looks chubbier...sigh.... Rachael

On Rachael! You look GORGEOUS! That scarf is beautiful on you! That picture of you and your husband is phenomenal ... you should definately use that for your Christmas cards! I think your face just glows ... I don't think it looks fat at all. Maybe it appears thinner in the red dress because of the "V" neck? Not sure. I just think you look very pretty in all your photos! Could just be the tilt of the head huh? Well, I did the one hour photo card thing at walmart today to get all my christmas cards with the picture of my husband and I. it looks pretty.

I love the pics. Eveyone always tells me (or they did before I cut it off) that my face looked thinner with my hair pulled back. Don't sweat it. I really dont' see a difference (not a negative one anyway). Remember often times, we are our own worst critics. You look great. And when you think your face looks "chubbier" pull out one of those motivating before pics.

I have always had a round face, even when thinner...don't know why I expected that to change

OH i beg to differ, i think that picture of you and hubby is fabulous! When your hair is back and you're wearing a V_Neck you look slimmer but i think this picture looks more like the "real" you. Hugs, ANDI
